| I went through 2 sets of Nitto NT555 tires and they were the best that I ever had. I only drove those tires on the street. The ES-100s are good handling tires and I've had the fortune of taking it on the street, autocross, and the track (Thunderhill Raceway). The ES-100s have good handling characteristics and are predictable at the limit. There is plenty of warning when they begin to lose grip. The ride quality on the Nittos seemed better and the ES are a little harsher. For me, I would get the ES-100s again. They are cheaper than the Nittos and good bang for the buck tires. If price were not the factor, I'd pick the Nittos first and the ES-100s second.
